Description

Principle of the Assay: The Mouse DTK/TYRO3 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immunesorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for DTK/TYRO3 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: A31-S418) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for DTK/TYRO3 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Mouse DTK/TYRO3 amount of sample captured in plate.

Background: Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor TYRO3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the TYRO3 gene. The gene is part of a 3-member transmembrane receptor kinase receptor family with a processed pseudogene distal on chromosome 15. The encoded protein is activated by the products of the growth arrest-specific gene 6 and protein S genes and is involved in controlling cell survival and proliferation, spermatogenesis, immunoregulation and phagocytosis. The encoded protein has also been identified as a cell entry factor for Ebola and Marburg viruses
